Great question. Because of the valley that we live in, the water differentiates greatly from one side to the other. Some is high in iron, some is high in arsenic, some has high hardness. Best thing to do is to schedule a test for an onsite or lab sample so we can identify the specific contaminants and design a custom system for your water.
The typical system can run anywhere from $500 to $15,000 and everywhere in between. Again, it depends on the contaminants in the water and the level of treatment that you desire.
One to two weeks is the typical turnaround for a full spectrum sample. Onsite testing for iron, hardness and ph gets immediate results.
Our headquarters are in Palmer, but we frequently serve all of the Mat-Su Valley and surrounding areas. We also take pride in offering water testing, filtration, conditioning and maintenance in remote Alaska.
The first step is testing, whether onsite or laboratory. Without testing, we’re making guesses as to what’s in your water and can’t really treat your water effectively. After we've tested your water, we'll come up with a game plan on how to best treat your water.
Yes, we have a large variety of filters that can be used to replace parts on a wide range of filters. Many people often forget to replace their filters, which leads to loss in pressure and dirty water. We highly recommend replacing filters at least every 6 months, sometimes every quarter, depending on the system.
